Default New 1997 Miata

My Grandparents just gave me their 1997 miata and i was just wondering if anyone knew where I can get a good, well-priced, white hardtop for it. If you have any links just reply with them please. Also if you have any suggestions please let me know, as of now it is completely stock.

Congrats on your "new" miata! I also own a 97 and love it! Bought it on Ebay almost five years ago and have done lots of work to make it mine. From a rebuilt motor to new shocks, sway bars, wheels, new top and seat reuhpolstery, I have slowly been putting this great little car into shape. I would suggest that you join your local Miata club. These folks have lots of good and valuable experience and knowledge that will help you too to put your car into the shape you want it in.

Most used hardtops are $800-1000. They tend to be stolen pretty often in some parts of the country so consider buying a lock or bolting it in.

Thank you for the help! Is there a certain website or few websites you use that you suggest to buy from?

I have purchased many items from our local Mazda dealership in Tustin. Especially stock parts of all kinds, shapes and sizes. Moss Miata, Go Miata and Racing Beat are just three of aftermarket shops that have many of the things you may be interested in. Ebay sometimes has an occasional item but for the most parts they seem to have far too many vendors pushing their rims! Never ever discount checking out Craigs List for Miata items. I have been lucky in securing some good stuff from them. Your location is quite close to my own. Perhaps you should check out our website SOCALM to see what our club is all about.

I recommend 949 Racing and Good-Win-Racing for many performance parts. There are others. I also recommend Rosenthal Arlington Mazda for reasonably priced OEM parts.
