I'm so used to THAT being where my temp gauge is at that I didn't even bother checking the symbol. I feel really stupid right now. Thanks for the info! Car's temp stays at a steady 11:30.

That is your oil pressure gauge, but it will not move up and down when driving. The oil pressure gauge that worked properly in the 90-93 models was replaced in 94 with a dummy gauge that is triggered by an off/on switch. It doesn't move unless you lose all of the oil pressure. It can be swapped for the earlier gauge and sender if you want one that works. Apparently ditzy bitches that drove Miatas couldn't figure out a functional gauge.
