why pusher?

IC piping is in the way of the driverside fan, and more working room on the front of the engine.

Puller is typically much more efficient if you can rearrange things to work.

I saw a '90 Miata automatic's radiator out at my buddy's shop recently and it was a 1 core! It was no thicker than a dime is tall.

clock your turbo, don't convert the fans.

RedTurboMiata 08-15-2011 04:26 PM

still have the ps pump and there isn't a lot of room for that that exhust manifold is kinda weird design the turbo sits on top.

Can you aim the compressor outlet towards the floor and run the piping straight down? Then turn it forward underneath where the A/C compressor is or would have been?

RedTurboMiata 08-16-2011 09:18 AM

i have to put that hook shaped piece in there somewhere.

why not just refill with R12 there is still a lot of it around, just most shops will not do a 134 A fill using the R12 connections. It is no more expensive as 134A in most places

RedTurboMiata 09-08-2011 03:18 PM

nobody in my area has r12 stuff anymore :(

Good luck with build. I figured you must live up north. No A/C is torture from May to November in Florida.
