Those are lofty goals for a procrastinator like me. I likey though.

I am finally getting off my butt and piecing my engine back together.

Truth be told, I started this restoration the day after Christmas 2009... If the shops can get it to me by Christmas it will finally put closure to the longest two years I've endured on any car. What part of SAT are you in? We're hosting a party this weekend. PM me for info if you can make it out.

If you ever need a second set of hands to help out, let me know. What IRTB set-up are you going with?

Did you drill out the spot welds to remove a layer of framing at the top of the door? Is that what I am seeing?

Bought this nifty kit from my Snap On Dealer.

Took a little getting used to. I am going to have to weld in a few spots that I cut too deep to prevent rattling and maintain strength. That peice is pretty thick.

This whole project will net me more weight savings than I initially thought.

how does your car run, it dosnt look like you have a cat. do you have something done to provide back pressure to the motor.

You should remove the muffler heat shield then, looks like the thing is about to rust itself off the car.

no cat runs great. It makes back pressure just not a lot. i only did this to finish up the autoX/drift season in style. i was always running stock exhaust and was sick of sounding like a fly buzzing around. I made 119whp with intake, header and cat delete so im gona get it dynoed again to see the difference
