What I did to my NA today...hmm. Before I started to reinstall my 2870, put the new Holset on the manifold and then LOL'd for about 15 minutes because there is only one position the compressor housing can be to actually fit between the engine and frame rails.....and it still touches the turbo manifold runners and frame rail What am I getting myself into...

Edit: I should probably call FM and see how they manage to clock their gt30's downward with no issues.

Cleaned my garage out, painted the new front brake calipers and brackets. red because i have time to kill, and for some reason i like seeing the brake caliper through the wheel. parked the car in the garage, and tomorrow begins the destruction of the old brake setup.

better heat? my heater core blows air so hot, I can't stand it for anymore than 30 seconds.

you probably need to adjust the flapper door. to be more open on full heat.

i have had some issues with heating well... since i got it. the 2 bands that seal the seams between the air box had lost all their foam so i spent a million hours trying to get new foam strips in there without taking it all apart. I got it just took forever. that solved the blowing cold air into my car issue. not it's just a matter of getting the air hotter.
flapper door adjustment... possible without taking the whole heater box+core out?

yea its easy, just take the glove box out and it should be a piece of cake from there. I will take a picture for you later tonight, all you are adjusting is the pull-cable that is attached to the ****.

should i be making this into a thread?

found the cable that pulls the levers and such. looks like there are 2 flaps involved. (otherwise there would be just one lever for open and closed i guess)
what am i adjusting? doesn't look like there is anything to really adjust.

you need to adjust the heat/cool **** cable, its on the passenger side. Atleast it is on the NBs.

ya i can see that. i have almost a full sweep between hot and cold. decided to flush the system again. sure am glad. just dumped it now and it's probably ranking in the top 5 dirtiest coolant flush's i've ever seen. (mechanic of 4 years) i just did it before winter so i just assumed things were peachy. guess not! i'll update y'all on my heat issue once i get this all new and fresh. (again)
