this firmware is very similar to what you are running and the way it handles a/c is much improved.
Yeah it seems to vary from about 13.0-14.0 depending on how it feels. My AFRs are never really smooth (don't really know how they are supposed to look though) I wonder if my injectors need cleaning and such... Of course I'm not going to worry about that until I replace them.

make sure the fuel map where you are idling is smoothed.

watch your logs at idle, you want very stable pulse witdhs (thus AFRs), timing, and idle operating. All those can significantly alter the idle speed--all things being equal.

If your fuel map is bouncing around and interpolating at idle, it will be really hard to maintain super smooth idle.

also remember you have warmup enrichments below 160*F.

I will look at all of that tonight, I haven't been too motivated to tune it further now that its running 1/2 decent manly because of the tuning laptop lol. The battery no longer works, and 1/4 of the screen doesn't work either, so its kind of a pain in the ***.

Got some more tuning done, car is feeling pretty good. Bumped up the rev limiter some (6500 from 6000 with a soft limit at 6000) Car feels much better up top now

Slowly moving up, its just a timing retard limiter, the base map had it set at 6k so im slowly increasing it.

I drove it all day yesterday (because I typically drive around all day for work) to test it out. Cruising on the interstate at 80-85mph and ~4000 rpm with the A/C on the temps would creep up to 215-218*F at an ambient temp of ~87*F. I'm not sure what normal is, but feel like it might rise further if I was running in boost on the track. I'm going to examine my ducting tonight for possible improvements. I'm not used to being able to see real temp numbers and not just a C<->H gauge. What's OK for running hard in boost on the track?

well not today, but Wed on my day off, I put new struts and brake pads and rotors on the rear, and I changed the oil in it. I got to do the front next but i was having hard time getting the front out and ran out of time so i just put it back together. I just could not get it out the way the Haynes manual says, which i find wrong stuff in those books all the time, i am going to have to do some digging to figure it out. Struts are only temporary, I will hopefully have fully adjustable coil overs on it with in a yr.
