still sucks though.
plans for next week. pull dash and carpet out, fix the aftermarket wiring up in with the vehicle harness. insulate the floor and dash area with the hardware store insulation. go pick up the ac parts from my friend, clean, install, use the ac vac, and fill.

Sat I started tearing outthe AC compressor and dryer to install a new one
Finally after what seemed like forever got the two screws out that hold the upper part of th eplastic shield/guard in place so the dryer could be removed
I thought the comp would be a big deal and find out it is the dryer
I did get the dryer off and a new one installed and had to call it a day
Will work on it some more tonight I hope and then tomorrow start the vac running and get the red134 put back in may change to the r152a after the warranty is out on the comp
understand this is what is coming in the new cars and will cool about 5 degrees cooler at the vent and is a drop in for the 134
