Default Who is familiar with 95 and 96 wiring?

I am working on a 95 miata, and I am trying to locate a new dash wiring harness for it. This is the harness that is installed into the dash and plugs into all of the instruments, and connects them to the main harness.

I seem to be having trouble locating one from a 95, and I am wondering if the 96 dash harness is the same as the 95. Would anyone be familiar with either of them and know if I could use a 96?

FRT_Fun Has a 97 idk if he keep the factory wiring when he did his custom harness. also dont know if there is a difference between the 95 and 97. but good luck finding what you need.

Thanks. I have found out that the connector plugs from the dash harness to the main harness are the same on the 90 to 94. In 95 they changed them. Hopefully the 96 will be the same as the 95.

I would have thought the 94-95 would have been the same and the 96-97 would have been the same because 94-95 was 1.8 w/OBD1 and the 96-97 was 1.8 w/OBD2 but I have no actual knowledge that this is the case.

In 95 I believe there are at least 2 different dash harnesses and they have different connections. I believe it is based on if the car was OBD1 or OBD2. I had a 95 harnesses except the dash part and I was never able to locate a dash part. I eventually gave up.

I wouldn't expect the 96 harnesses to be the same.

With my luck, it probably isn't the same. Thanks for insight. I will find one that works.
