Default Loss of RPM under breaking

This ONLY happens when I am under breaking and coming to a stop. It never happens on its own during idle.

The RPM's will drop to around 500 or LESS when I am almost stopped and then when the breaking action has finished, RPM's go back to normal ( or until I give it some gas)

What's the deal with that? It's so weird. Any ideas?

clean your throttle body and idle air valve(its basically one piece) and re adjust your idle.

Clean the Intake Manifold EGR Passageway and the EGR valve itself.

Common problem on 99-00s. It's not difficult, just make sure to keep track of all your bolts, and I like to use some tape to note all of the vacuum lines I remove to mount them back up. Lastly, on steps 17 and 18 of the IM cleaning, no need to use Q-tips, just use a boatload of Throttle Body cleaner. I've heard some people using more than a full can just to clean the thing.
