No breaker bar? When I find seized bolts, I replace them, the home depot/vato zone bolts work fine, and often times I think they're higher quality than the oem ones (less prone to stripping). If the bolts are in really bad shape a $25 torch from home depot (yellow fuel bottle, burns hotter), and an Irwin bolt grip set does wonders. Just be careful of breaking a stud, broken bolt extractors are hit or miss, and you literally get one chance to get it to work. Drill with a small drill bit as centered as you can, use a bolt extractor that just fits in the hole, and use a drill at the weakest setting in reverse, soon as it catches, remove the drill, and use pliers to try to turn the extractor. If you break the tip of the extractor in the stud, its pretty much game over.

I also coat a layer of silicone spray over the new bolts. Seems like a lot of work for a 2 season garage queen, but I've got rust forming on control arms, and the axles are completely covered in a layer of rust. NYC leaves a TON of salt on its roads.

My daily is a 2008 jeep liberty, I had to undercoat quite a few places as well to stop the spread of rust. Keep in mind, this is a car with like a foot of ground clearance. Although, I've "forded a river" or two in it, got through 2 feet of water before, was a little scary watching cars die in the water all around me (mostly german cars too lol). Wished I got that on video, Jeep would've owed me money for their next commercial.

Everyone argues this with me, but my friend's wrx rusts even easier, and worse than our cars do. Like a rock chip will start rusting within days, ---- you not! We're lucky we have an aluminum hood.

Well it's a timing belt kit... not a water pump kit Although ya it wouldn't make sense to do a timing belt without doing a water pump.
