What did you do to your NB today?
It wasn't all that bad, just tedious. I used a razor blade to get most of the gunk off which led to that first picture. The second picture was after I took 150-grit sanding paper against a wooden-block to it. As for the photo I just positioned the thin phone-camera just left of the heater hoses.
I replaced my passenger side LCA. Took my front coils apart and cut the sleeves shorter so they would stop rubbing on the springs. I then repainted the springs and niced it all up.
Tomorrow, I do the same for the rears then friday/thursday I will be realigning the car for an autocross on sunday!
Now, I gotta go send a message to TSE.

Not quite sure Jayce...It came up when I was trying to get my car aligned for the beginning of the season. turns out my guy was getting something like 2.5* on the driver's side, but could barely get 1.4* on the passenger. I foolishly listened to some people and bought a ball joint first, but it turned out to be something else.
I can't seem to find any way to check whether the damage is subframe, or control arm related, so I am pretty much throwing parts at it. We will see though, if I have to replace the subframe, I may just skip out on the season till june/july and do the clutch/flywheel and a reroute while the engine is out.
I am pulling the rear shocks to trim down the sleeves and then I will do the alignment and some ride height adjustments before this weekend.
I didn't see any visible damage on either the subframe or the LCA, I am thinking the wheel maybe a culprit here also, but it would be weird to have bent a wheel with no visible damage to my tires.

Yay the engine is back in!
I'm just waiting on those lock washers for the inner tie rods, which should be in Tuesday, and then I can put the rest of the suspension back together.
I noticed I put the steering shaft in so the steering wheel is upside down. It's easier to just flip the steering wheel which is what I will do.
I have some work to do yet, still need to tighten up everything in the rear, and hook everything back up to the engine. But I should at least be able to start the car this weekend!
And if things go okay, drive it next weekend!
