Another nut, signing in
Ahoy!
Presenting one MX-5 nut from Queensland Australia. I'm a regular (read: all day long!) browser of all the main MX-5 forum haunts, but a bit more of a lurker than a poster. More forums can't go astray though!
I've been the owner of a red NA6 which I did a bunch of stuff to, and am in the process of transferring lots of those bits to a red NA8 to replace it as my main car, and with a pal we'll turn the NA6 into a track toy. We like doing as much work as we can ourselves so have had a crack at bushes, suspension swaps, engine tinkering, an engine swap, and painting. In addition I have a bit of a gauge cluster fetish. All good fun... the stuff to do to these cars is never ever going to run out
Here's the NA6:
And here's the NA8
Looking forward to seeing how this forum goes and contributing where I can.

Hah! Noo thankfully roo tails are not a popular form of bling for Australian cars...yet, though I will get very worried if I start wanting to put big mudflaps, spotlights and a trayback on it!
Being most regularly a poster over on the Australian MX5 forum, I have a fairly detailed history of my ownership you can have a read of there

In my efforts I've followed RevLimiter's guides making the multiple layers and stuff... but have come to massive fail on the gluing and cutting. One day I'll get back to it.
The fetish though encompasses the various aftermarket stuff from the motherland as well though, I've got two AWD sets...
