Welcome to the forum.

Any pics of your car? https://www.miataforumz.com/images/smilies/useless.gif

If you have questions, just ask in the NC section.

I'll probably change the mirrors and hood to carbon fibre sometime. It should be a good way to both look good and decrease weight.
it's an 09. drives great, though I would probably want more power eventually as well.

Nice Car!

I'm not sure about the NC cars, but the NA and NB cars all have aluminum hoods. Not much if any savings by going to carbon fiber.

You might want to see if a magnet will stick to the hood. Just DON'T scratch it! Use a paper towel or soft cloth between them.

k thanks for the tips. I'll have to do some research to see if it'll help much with weight savings. I might change suspension as well. I want to have less drag on straights, and also less recovery on oversteer if possible. Since I am a bit of a drift fan. It seems to recover easily, which is probably due to lack of power.

Problem is I don't have mechanic knowledge/experience yet.
