Never did find out what front end you have on your car. Looks like eight inch wide rims. I rolled my fenders very hard and stretched them with Eastwood fender roller and fit eights easily. Going to see if nines well fit. Im a rim ----- but one of the sets i run is 15×8 with a20 MM offset. Konig wideopen with the polished lip. Difusers on the side of your car would push it over the edge nice. There are two different styles both are awesome.. Well check into your fan coming on problem but there are alot of strange variables in that can of worms. Aaron

Ten and gnd should never effect fans. Is any of the harness obviously butchered?

We had the complete harness out of the car, nothing I could see was obviously chopped/spliced/damaged :(

Ive changed all sorts now, fuses/relays/Idle control sensor/water temp sender.

Also cannot get it to idle below 1100rpm getting increasingly frustrated with it

On my car the throttle body gasket was shot(was like three dollars at O'rielie's . The IAC was also bad and still is. Because of that engine runs rich poor gas mileage.

Ive put in a new TB gasket and a different Idle control valve, have also put a new lambda in, same high idle, I will wait to see if the mpg improves slightly now the lambda has been changed, averaged around 180 miles on the last 2 full tanks of fuel...

For a little while it was idling at 1800 rpm when coming to a stop at traffic lights!! :/

This is a timelapse of the reshell

Have you tried adjusting the air bleed screw?

old school 01-14-2013 03:25 PM

Yes, but haven't buckled down and done a real thorough vacuum leak test.
As far as Sams car goes i would put a multi meter on it on the positive side and see if there is continuity to ground.

You can lower the idle with the screw but after a few drives it creeps back up
