Damn yankees and your lack of UV destruction! All factory painted red Miatas down here are pinkish and have peeling clearcoat if they are more than 15 years old! UV is a bitch. But I guess you have salt rust to compensate sometimes.

might want to look into the front license plate, around here(columbus) they are ****'s.

It was quite pink, but I buffed the hell out of it. I was lucky with salt and got a car from the south where there is no salt. Up in my area, is salt heaven

I was thinking about that, my old WRX kind of flew under the radar a little without a plate (3 years, not hassled once), a bright red 2 seater convertible is not so easy to do that without a plate.
