Welcome to the forum!

While I am in the same boat as you (I hate retarded offset, slamming, or cheap ---- coilovers), its important we are open-minded. Its good to let everyone enjoy their car the way they like. Even if the flaking paint has to match the pink wheels.

You don't have to worry about the broomstick test, I have never actually seen it done. But in the interest of getting lower, consider getting some fixed back seat and mounting it as low as possible.

I am working on a quick and dirty adapter for side mounted seats so no one has to cut the rear humps, although I may actually go down that path purely for more headroom.

Thing is I didn't do anything relating to hating on what someone does to their car. In fact the very opposite, I called out someone trying to force their tastes on everyone else. My car is pretty slammed (4.5-4.25" from pinch rails to floor).

Someone over at CR.net was going from thread to thread obsessively being adamant about how you cannot put gold wheels on a silver or white car, and how gold wheels only belong on red/black/brg cars only. Got sick of seeing him repeat this in a few threads, so I told him his obsession with what colors can work together was really queer.

My original ban was 2 weeks, which was supposed to end yesterday. I logged on soon as it ended, went to catch up on a thread, after I finished reading, tried to go to the next page and found myself banned for another 2 weeks! I didn't even get to make a post, and got banned! Apparently the mod said since I had made a total of 3 posts to this individual, I'm going to be getting 2 weeks for each post.

I think I'm pretty much done with that forum.

^^ This. I have yet to see one argument, troll, or any of the hate and discontent found on the other 3 forums. I'm starting to like it here more every day.

I'm sure it will happen as more people come. But there really needs to be a place like here where we can all just BE. I mean we ARE supposed to be a community after all, why not get along!

agreed. I certainly disagree with a lot of stuff on many of the forums, but I try to keep to myself.

like I said earlier, best we let everyone enjoy their miata the way they want.
