its funny cause it's true.

The 1.6 cars also had inadequately sized rear differentials that often broke and smaller brakes all the way around. Once these few shortcomings are mitigated they are quite fine cars. Their engines are quite strong and reliable to many hundreds of thousands of miles if well maintained.

1.6L miatas are a joke.

less displacement thus less tq and hp, less brakes, less rear, less clutch, and only 200 less pounds.

If they had installed a macho diff at the factory the 1.6 cars would have been flawless IMO. And it is a simple swap to make.

MF-Brain 05-13-2012 09:44 AM

wouldn't help. oh less, less bracing too.

I mean it helps it not suck as much. i had to upgrade all of the stated above just to get the car on par with the 94 and it's still a hell of a lot slower...

Hey Guys! Have a question? Any on you sticker bomb their car? I need help picking out a section of the car to do it on.

I think you want to ask the guys at ClubRoaster. I've seen some cool looking ones where they did a front splitter. But, folks here are more conservative with their Miatas.
