I just replaced my automatic transmission in my 1996 Mazda Miata M.
The hold light keeps blinking on the dash. What do I do to fix it. Also it shifts fine from 1st to 2nd to 3rd it will not shift into over drive rpm stays 3000 or higher depends on how much gas I give it. Help

 

Check the fluid level again. Torque converters will burp any air out after the initial fill. It may be necessary to check it a couple of times.

Then check for any wires that were not reattached or may not be making a good connection.
