Hello everyone, I have joined the forum to research buying my first Miata. There is a lot of talent and experience here and I think that if I pay attention I may save myself some grief in the future.

My wife gave me a stage 1 HPDE day at Sonoma Raceway (terrific experience) and now I am constantly thinking about driving. I want to buy a car that will let me "feel it" if that is the right term. Also it would be something that I could drive to Tahoe reliably, briskly and won't hold up traffic on the uphill grades.
