Default Texas heat, checkin in

My name is Aaron, Im 6'2" at 200# and I love really small cars. If anyone has the time please make it rain here in the DFW.

My cars have a story. Back in May, I had my Jeep wrangler and my old Miata parked in the street in front of my house. About 0445 one Saturday morning some *** hat desided to rear end my Jeep pushing it into my Miata and then into my yard. I have a big Warn bumper and a Warn winch too. Together these pushed the Miata rear bumper into the trunk totalling my lil car. The car that hit me drove off around the corner and parked. He got out left the keys on the tire and called a tow truck. Tow driver later came and left not wanting to touch a hit and run. I was asleep but my neighbor was up and saw alot of this go down. After he called for a tow he started to walk off. My neighbor had called the cops, who dont come unless there is an injury or blocked traffic. Some how a cop was there fast. The cop stops the guy questions him and lets him go, hes not the regestered owner of the car. He gets into a taxi and leaves. No one in my neighborhood uses taxi service or walks around at that hour. Shitty rookie cop. The regestered owner is an older man, his daughter is the driver of the car but wasnt driving this time, she was shotgun and got out at the scene and walked back to where they came from. After the cop talked with the guy he came up to the car grabbed the keys, as if he knew right where they were, and put the broken pieces we gathered into the car and locked the keys in with them. I later found out the owner had called the car in stolen after the fact of the hit and run. The car sat there for days after the hit. I end up paying my deductable for both of my cars and had to buy another Miata. I only had it for just shy of 6 months. I swapped off all of the parts that I could being that they are brand new. I still may see some cash back on this deal, its still in ledigation.

Sorry for the long intro, I will post pics of the total and new to me Miata at a later date

Couple years back a friends car in my driveway was backed into by a tow truck. lol, ruined his car. Rear trunk, quarter, both doors. The tow trucks solid mounted sling (???) just pushed the car out of the way. Driver stopped, offered to pay. But he did push the car about 2 feet to the right.
