I had three phone calls yesterday. The odd thing is they were one after the other.
I had applied for Social Security Disability in Dec of 2011. I received some paperwork a week or so ago to fill out. I was at the table filling them out when the phone rings and it is SS. I had been approved for the disability. I ask what about these papers you sent.
This lady says no problem the letter your doctor wrote was more than enough for us to make a decision on so do not worry with that. You will get a back pay check in Apr as well as a big raise along with Medicare
I hang up the phone and it rings again, it is the Veterans Administration and they tell me they are trying to tie my problems in with Agent Orange and if it does not meet the requirements they would most likely approve me a decent increase through another program. Wow,did not think it could get any better
I hang up the phone and it starts ringing again. This is my doctor calling and he tells me the cancer cells are still being killed off and even though the side effects are getting worse, the medicine is doing its job . I told him I am still able to deal with the side effects. He says that is great the longer you can go without taking medication for the side effects the better.
Can’t get a better day than that

I have had a couple of visits with my doctor and the medication I am on is still doing its job. The side effects continue to get worse as the days go by but still dealing with them and able to get up and get around
The company I was working for is still holding a position open for me even though it has been two years plus since the last day I worked. Few companies will do that.
I found out that the disabilty supplement that I had been paying for several years only paid if you stay employed,the instant the company terminate s me officailly then the check stops .Odd policy to say the least
SS has kicked in and is set for another year
I have no idea what the doctors send to SS but it must be a dandy
Track just to let you know,we waited till fri dropped the top and did take off for a weekend to no where. We went up through Okla and stopped at a few casinos and dropped a few dollars here and there had a great time
We did get caught in some rain and would have to putthe top up but did get it down a few times
