So i have been thinking about parting out the miata, and picking up a cleaner 94+. keeping a few things off the red one obviously.my thoughts are sell the greddy kit, ms1, intercooler and such, keep the 460's. put the red car back to stock, sell it for 2-3k. there was a 96M for sale that i liked for 4k, body was in great condition. idk what i want to do though. i have a while before i can do anything though.

Buy Jayce's. It needs some exterior work due to some parking woes with his mother, but is a very very clean rust free car underneath. (We the exception of his rear quarters).

He says he isn't selling today, but give him 5 minutes.

I want like an Montego blue with tan interior, black interiors kinda suck in the sun. For a convertable the miata doesn't have much air flow through the car.

I have thought about this many times. I came to the conclusion for me... It wouldn't be worth it.

The only reason I would want to go with a 94+ is for the 1.8 and that can be swapped for a lot less than buying a clean 94+.

black interior is awesome compared to a tan leather interior. summer and winter and everything in between. I'd never go back.

also, Montego blue with tan interior???? you an old man now?

IF i were to do something i would part. sell the turbo, man, dp as set. sell the ms1. keep my gauges, injectors. sell the car as bone stock.

theres a clean m on CL for about 4k. torsen and everything i really want. except turbo. get a ms2, begi s4 base kit, use my current 460cc injectors. be happy.

the black and tan i rode in was nice in the beating heat, and it stayed fairly cool in the beating sun.

Agree with this. Never been a huge fan of leather. esp the leather Mazda used in the Miata. But again, just my opinion.

Man up! lol, jk. But I haven't had a problem with no AC and black interior for 5+ years! (and Brain can tell you it gets hot as a **** here)

i mean unless you enjoy sorching your back on the seats after baking in the sun, and then slipping out of them once you start to drive and sweat all over....

I loved the seats in the STi. The alcantara kept you in place pretty well (for having such shitty side bolsters)... just needed more aggressive side bolsters. I wish we had the Recaro option here like they have over seas.
