Still front wheel drive. still retarded. still gay. I am pretty sure any other person could build a heavily aero'd civic/integra/fwd and blow records up. You know why? because no one ------' bothers. Other than those BTCC cars, I don't find fwd to be particularly interesting. Funny enough, the BMWs do pretty well in BTCC too.

It just not amazing to me like a lot of people think of these cars. I just get annoyed when people are suckin dick on fwd like its amazing that this thing can put down amazing times.

Its got more aero than a DTM car and puts out twice the power, wtf do they expect?

It looks like they are spending huge amounts of time and effort to make lemonade out of lemons with that car. Just like Porsche does with rear engine layouts. Porsche has spent 50 years perfecting a bad idea.

Same amount of aero and power on front-mid engine rwd car would rape that car.

 

All you need is one rule that says no front wings and then the car goes back to sux0r.

I guess I look at this differently. I think the point behind the build is pushing the envelope on a technology. FWD isn't my bag either, but I can acknowledge props on a well engineered vehicle. There are plenty of RWD cars with crazy aero and hp so I don't understand the hate. It's a time attack car competing in a FWD class if I'm not mistaken. They wanted to build the fastest FWD car and they did. They wanted to build a newer version that was even better and they did. Props to the engineering behind it. Props to the redonkulous power they are pushing from that motor as well.
