traffic isn't that bad if you know how to drive in the city. I can be into the middle of the city in 20 minutes. and with a smartphone, you should know where traffic is before you're stuck in it.
the taxis are handy but unnecessary since we have a good metro and bus system.
the politicians are alright. I did have to wait twice over the weekend for obama to eat dinner--once in arlington and once in DC.
it's pretty awesome having a commute through the memorials and the mall and the buildings in the center of our capitol. they really are impressive up close.
what's REALLY unconstitutional though? taxation without representation.
put that in your teabag and brew it.

yea yea, so I am bullshitting pretty much. I feel that a thread about smell, should involve loads of bullshit. I thought I heard that handgun ban was overturned a while back, but wasn't sure.
I am not so sure I would like DC, but it would be nice to see all the history.
And we are both in agreement over the taxation PROBLEM. I would brew it in my tea, but I think it would taste bad. Pass.

Have you hung out in DC? I mean you can't make a country boy enjoy being a city boy most of the time but it is a fun place.
generally taxation is confounding but it's even more insulting when half a million people in DC don't even get a vote in congress.

oh yea! I have a few friends in DC. I have been there probaly 6 times in the last 4ish years. visit family, and friends, and occasionally see stuff. I probably wouldn't have a DUI if I did live there, but then again things would be pretty different anyway.
