I had the blue bug guard on it as well as a sticker I got at an EAA event that said experimental across the hood. That was to keep people from asking about why it had black smoke coming out of it for 2 minutes every time I started it. I took the Danger Ranger swimming once and she never recovered.

Both mine were actually the 2wd version too, but this was the best picture of the model I had that I could find. It is not an actual picture of mine.

Yeah, I've duked some tracks on purpose as well as accident with that old Danger Ranger. That twin I-Beam front end was tough. Mine was an 85, their first year of FI and it had it's issues. My grandfather had an 82 with I think a Mazda 3 cylinder Diesel. That little Ranger ran forever. He actually had two other rangers at the farm for body parts. The drivetrain was great, the body, not so great.
