I have made the decision to add lights to the inside of the center console.
The items you need.
2x indicator lights
i got them from advance auto for $4 each
Some spare wire
a drill and some drill bits
Step 1:Remove center console from car unplug wiring underneath the center. remove the ashtray light from underneath.
Step 2:The indicator light box has a drill bit size that allows the light to seat in the hole you are about to drill.
Step 3:Mark and drill your hole, and install the lights into them.
Step 4:Use the wiring from the ash tray light, They come on when you turn on your parking lights. wire up your lights.

Doesn't it just blind you when you open the lid? Also, you can add a button to your center console for your garage door opener, if you open it up and solder some leads to the controller. Makes it so you don't have to open your lid. It's the little things in life.

Of course I don't have power windows.

Would look better if I ever used armor all or cared in general for my center console.

 

no it dosnt blind me, thats just a horrible cell phone picture. and unfortunately it dosnt live in the garage, it visits for a few days here and there.

 

Nice. I think I'll do something like this but get power from the "dome" lights on the dash.
