I'm on my third setup. Started with FM springs on Tokico Illuminas with FM sway bars. Then I got 949 endlinks and MSM rear sway. Car handled really well! I wanted to go with a lower ride height so I switch to the FM Vmaxx lol they actually worked well with my rear sway unhooked. Got a deal on some Spec Miata coils, thats what I'm currently on. I think I'll be good with this for a while.

-949Racing end links
-Spec Miata Suspension with '99 top hats
-Flyin' Miata sway bars (full stiff front/rear unhooked)

-MMR motor/diff mounts
-discontinued front and rear chassis braces from 949Racing
-single diagonal Hard Dog sport bar

My ride height is 4.0/4.25 is without me in it. I'm going to raise it up to like 4.25/4.5 and hook the FM rear bar to full stiff. I like to drive sideways these days!

On my '92 SE with stock drivetrain.

Running my Koni 2812 shocks with the standard digressive pistons and 700/450 springs. No rear bar and Racing Beat "Race" front bar (it's got 3/16" wall thickness rather than the standard 1/8" wall thickness). Homemade end links and stock bushings. The only bracing is a pair of Tuckin'99 front fender braces. Riding on 15x7et38 wheels with 205/50-15 Dunlops.

Bought my first NA with the Tokico HP combo (blue shocks, red springs). Terrible. Low ride height, spring rate barely stiffer than stock, and underdamped shocks may be the worst possible combo.

Replaced those with some H&R coilovers. Odd setup, listed as having equal front and rear spring rates. Fairly high quality, rumors that the shocks are made by Bilstein. Nice ride, not particularly stiff, might have handled better if I'd replaced the stock sways with something stiffer.

Decided to replace them with jacob300zx's track setup based on MSM Bilsteins (fronts revalved by Bilstein), 670/350# springs, and ebay coilover sleeves with super tall tophats (ISC rears and custom fronts) and no bumpstops. I actually really liked this setup -- very responsive, great balance and rode surprisingly well considering the spring rates. I really wanted to try the rears with some tender springs to see if that would help the bounciness, but sold the setup before I had the opportunity to test this out.

Swapped on a set of NB oem shocks (don't know what they are...Sachs?), NB springs, and NB tophats when I was preparing to sell the 1992. Not terrible, nice soft ride, but the car sat super tall. Opposite of slammed. Might be the hot setup for rallying, I guess.

Bought a 1995 with KYB AGX's on 300/225# (if I recall correctly) with GC coilovers and FM tophats in the rear. Haven't had much spirited driving on it but so far it seems like a fairly livable setup for the street. Previous owner autocrossed competitively on this setup with success.

FCM SA with 400/275.
Wouldn't recommend them.
Street ride blows.

"high" quality megan streets with 32 settings!! so awesome :bang:

in all honesty, got a GREAT deal on them.. cant complain for the money i spent. the ride is smooth, the drop is decent (not slammed yet), and they look pretty good.

I'm running hella JDM Miata specific stock suspension. Super freshness in an easy to disguise package.
