Do u think this could be done with plastidip or would u advise something else?
i would just use primer, then black spray paint. put down your insulation and call it a day.

Lmbo.. after all the stuff i have read on the projects i have been doin with this car, that simple answer just seemed so...... simple..... it stunned me.. lol. But i like it ..

So no rubberized coating? No polymer based paint? No tar like substance? Just good ol primer.. cool

well some of the rubberized stuff never actually dries, you dont want that big sticky mess in your car. besides your insulating it anyways.

Dont think it will be an issue. I took a brass wire wheel and stripped em of rust and paint. Sanded then primed em. Then applied two coats of plastidip. Pleased with the result.
