Default 2000 SE Slow Street Fun Build

Vehicle: 2000 SE
Drivetrain: 1.8L, 6speed, 3.909 torsen
Hard Top

Current Mods:
Racing Beat Header
Racing Beat Cat-Back Exhaust
Racing Beat Intake

Short Term Goals:
Timing Belt (Purchased)
Water Pump (Purchased)
Comp Engine Mounts (Purchased)
FM Sways (December?)
Wilwood Brakes (November?)
FM VMaxx (January?)
Roll Bar (Feburary?)

Long Term Goals:
Parallel MS + Supporting Equipment
Rebuilt Engine (Minor reliability upgrades)
Polyurethane Control Arm + Differential Bushings

As of now, no turbo in sight. This will essentially be my daily driver. Depending on if I move back up North (Chicago) it may eventually be my summer and dry winter day fun car. But as of right now it will be daily driven. Just want to have some fun with it, replace parts with better parts as they need replacing. Will be posting plenty of pictures...

all mods look good. not sure about the Vmaxx as I have never ridden on them. but I have heard plenty of great stuff and since they are always on backorder, they must do something right!

I would probably do an exhaust with that.

Forgot to add the current mods. Car came with a racing beat header/exhaust/intake. Also came with a small exhaust leak, just needs a new gasket on either side of the cat. Also added roll bar in short term goals

I dislike the racing beat exhaust because its so ------ heavy...
but yea, that is no biggie for a street car. what Roll bar are you looking at?

Is that color "black cherry"? That is hot, I love it. Honestly, I think that is my favorite color that Mazda ever painted a Miata. I absolutely hate the NA miatas that were that smurf blue color.

The color is mahogany mica, think it was an SE only color, although I could be mistaken. It looks really nice, especially at night.

For the roll bar most likely a hard dog. Not sure if I'm going single or double diagonal.

black cherry is a 2004/5 color. very close colors though. I could only tell them apart due to the difference between 99/00 and 01+ body/light.

I will say the RB exhaust sounds amazing. Not horribly worried about the weight, although that does put a damper on the awesomeness. It's all good though. Probably going to have to hold off the timing belt etc until the weekend of the 22nd. Ah well.

Waaaait... FRT_Fun... Are you Tom? Or did you buy it from him? I recognize that car from Tom Tomarino's (butcherd spelling on last name) FB.

No not Tom. Tom's buddy. We swapped cars. He has my Honda Fit. I have his Miata. We met in Joplin last weekend for the trade.
