No HP goal. My goal is reliability. It will be a low power setup. Response is key. Low boost threshold and limited turbo lag are key. I am considering a 2554 since I'm not shooting for over 200whp.

So I guess <200whp would be goal.

Worked on the car for about 4 hours today... and made some progress.

Really only planned to get the engine and front subframe pulled, but managed to get in some disassemble a it as well. Cleaned the subframe as well. There actually was not much rust on the subframe at all. After it was cleaned only a few spots will need to be touched up.

The control arms will need to be cleaned, some parts sanded, and completely painted once the bushings are pressed out.

Only had 3 bolts break. 2 ten mil bolts for the ABS wiring and the lower steering knuckle bolt. That one should be easy enough to drill out.

Tomorrow I'm going to pull the rear subframe. From there I have my work cut out for me doing the prep work for installing all the new parts.

I just like to know everything about my cars. No surprises. I will have touched (oh lala) every part of this car by the time it's back on the road. Which, judging by having 4 day weekends the next two weeks, should be before January. I also feel better replacing all these rusty bolts. Can't wait for my BOX O' FM PARTS to come on Thursday. Christmas come early
