FX1 Pro seat. Mine touches my door slightly. I welded up my brackets myself and cut out the humps in the floor board. I don't believe the well needed to be hammered on this one but on my 91 I used a air hammer with a rounded bit to get the material to move without breaking through it.

So last night I finished with the paint work and decided that before I install these beautiful new bumpers - I should wheel out the entire car. Since I've owned the car it has not looked this clean. New front lip installed too :)

Are you a mechanic by trade Dem or just that good? I would love to see this in person some day. Do you plan to ever track it?

I'm a mechanic at night. Technical Marketing Coordinator during the day :rolleyes: It will see some slight track time this summer. I primarily built it to hurt feelings on the street. I travel quite randomly for work so it's usually hard to commit to track schedules. Auto X events and likely a couple of open track days.

Also- I think I'll be hitting a couple of Miata meets this season so maybe you'll see it in the flesh.

I plan to be at Gingerman and Gratan this summer with Nasa. Neither track terribly far from you. Gratan is a pretty fun track for a miata, maybe we will see each other there.

So I called a friend of mine on the way home and was joking with him about how I should do a wire tuck. Then I stopped by the shop and for whatever reason I started to just that.

I wont go all out like some people but I'll clean some things up and make it look a little nicer..

I removed everything to clean some things up. The paint has been pretty stained from the engine exploding in the bay and blowing hot oil all over the white, likely single stage engine bay paint.

I took a heavy degreaser to everything and it helped but it still looked dirty to me.

So then I said fluck it. Let's paint the bish. Taped it all off and scuffed the hell out of it.

Hit her with some base coat left over from my bumpers earlier this week.
