I'd love to have one for my old Fox-stang coupe, throw on a centrifugal and be done. It'd cost more than my car did new, so, not going to happen...
To be blunt, I'm not really about anything with an iron block/heads. Fave architecture is dohc four-valve.
Since we're dreaming now, why not an all alloy 2.3 Duratec?
DuraTec 60 deg V6?
SHO V6? Iron. But, if the cost is right...
SHO V8? Get the cams fixed...
IIRC, all of these have been successfully been adapted to north-south, T-5 trans using either plates and mustang bellhousings, or custom bells.
