duuno mayne but all that is too much for me. I just want a boso'd out miata I can daily and take to auto-x one a month.. and maybe track once a year? LOL

I keep wincing and thinking someone is going to hit a wall and ruin a nice car. I don't have the ***** to drift around large inanimate objects like that. Going off a snowy road into a corn field in a $500 ford ranger is a lot less scary.

 

..yeah same thats the biggest thing holding me back from it. a bunch of guys keep pushing me but the thing is its my only car and i can't afford anything to happen to it lol. these guys stick to small stuff like figure eights and doughnuts in the early stages in parking lots though.

 

If I wreck my car at the track, police don't take me away in handcuffs. That's what keeps me away from it. Secondly, the wife refuses to rice it up and wear all tight leather clothing so it's just not worth it.

 

I've hung out down in lower wacker for hours before. Cops rarely show up down there. There's a lot of exits too to run away. I've been chilling down there with friends before and seen a couple super classy cars roll through like a viper acr and a italia 458.

 

Just got back from checking out Blake's new shop in Racine. Bigger, cleaner, and overall better. It's much more organized and easier to find parts. I have a feeling I'll be dropping quite a bit of cash there. Also spent some time drooling over his spec Miata's, and most importantly I got a new rear caliper.

 

Was just out at lower wacker doing some drift action... well I wasn't really... but was there for a good 2-3 hours with no trouble.

 

You've probably seen a super classy Grey JSW TDI and Emerald Mica NB cruising lower whacker as well.

I guess all the cops are too busy writing parking tickets over by my old place. I figured they would be all over people drifting down there. I'd still be scared I would wrap my car around a steel girder. That would really suck.

 

I know a bunch of people are going to Ozinga's and LW this Saturday. Were all meeting up at the Jewel Osco in Oak forest off 159th & Cicero to cruise together.

Dunno if you guy's are interested, I also was talking to Saedrin(Zack) about possibly doing a miata meetup this weekend.

 

someone should post the autocross we were talking about having a large meetup at in the event sections with dates, so we can start spreading the word about the badass event thats going to unfold.
