I'll be camping in Green bay.

BTW guys, Slider doesn't let on that he is actually the ---- at AutoX. This guy beats out boosted Miatas and Sponsored S2ks! He's a beast on the AutoX.

With the miata down for a clutch and new brakes I took the FD Saturday to Autox and learned just how much the stock intercooler on the FDs suck. The second run I was heat soaking so bad I had no power and had to call it quits. I also am running the stock rims/wheels/shocks and the FD just didn't turn nearly as well as the Miata does.

Mike and I spoke and I ended up adding a lot more air to my tires and that did help turn in, but the FD requires a lot more throttle steer to rotate those tight turns then the miata does and I was a bit surprised by that. Honestly, I like my less powerful Miata for Autox. But, hey, she looked good going slow around the track and burping flames and clouds of smoke.

The FD looks good no matter what, it's timeless design. I've been autoxing for a while now, but I'm still learning how to pick up a little time here and there. The nice thing about WCMC, everyone is friendly and will give you advice. Plenty of runs too compared to the other clubs. Are you going to the Tire Rack event?

I plan to do the July 20/21st ones at the rack. The guy in the wrecked STi I posted lives 1 mile away and I may stay with him or my sister down in Lakeville. That's home for me.

I've seen many AutoX at the Rack for many years and am excited to actually go do one there. It's the only place I have bought tires from for 17 years now.

Okay I'll see you there then. I'm planning on attending both days. The surface is nice and grippy there, not having to worry about potholes, gravel, seagulls and homeless people with shopping carts is also a plus.

Yo Yo Yo Chicago peeps. It's getting late in the year and I did not get my road racing quota in. My buddies and I are planning a trip to Gingerman Test and tune next Tuesday 9/25 weather permitting.

IT's 1700 - 20:30 EST and $75
Rules and Regulations, amateur race track, scca, sports car racing, south haven, michigan | Gingerman Raceway, Ltd.

I'm going to advertise in a few other places and see if we can get a decent little turn out. Slider! I know you want to come.

Hey Mike, would you and Nordbert please mind exporting in google earth your laps from Harry's Lap Timer yesterday and emailing me? I want to see just how fast you guys are taking the turns versus me.

Just go to lap list and there is an export feature, Google Earth is the default. I'll PM you my email. Let me know how the Polish haggling went at the driver experience as well.

Thanks,

Adam
