And you are looking to see if you need to run to your OEM to keep from throwing a CEL correct?

Unless he's still planning on running parallel like a early 2000's newb, it won't throw a CEL.

Either way, the wideband should be able to give a narrow band output, there's a special wire on the wideband that gives a simulated narrow band signal specifically to "fool" OEM ECUs.

I guess I'm an early 2000s n00b as well. I want to pass emissions without ripping it all out every two years. Just need a working odbII. We don't have the crazy inspections like CA or so I'm told.

You should be able to turn off any CELs with MS so you can pass inspection.

i dont really feel like re wiring the ms so im rocking the parallel install, i guess im lazy . but i was asking if i should hook up that narrowband signal or not.

is it acceptable to put the ms next to the stock computer, but how should it be fastened.
