it was running like ---- yesterday and making a weird noise, checked it out today and the clamp holding the turbo to the exhaust housing was nowhere to be found. fml

took off door panels and scrubbed and cleaned em to take paint... tan to black..

removed console.. got to order the boots for shifter

getting ready to remove carpet

planing to dynomat or something similar while carpet is out?

google didnt show any guides for the miata, but you can get it from a few places online. and if you do go down that path take lots of pictures and create a writeup in our how to section, we are always looking to add to the good writeups we have.

I've seen several folks do it on mt.net and photo there progress. I can't recall the thread, but I thought someone once said there is a better alternative to dynomat?

Frost king padded aluminum tape in 12 inch wide rolls is damn cheap and sold in Lowe's and Home Depot. Somebody told me that one of those stores might have switched brand names on the stuff, but it is the same thing. Probably not as fancy as Dynamat but probably 1/16th the cost.
