^ I love it when that happens! It has happened to me twice, such as awesome feeling!

Once it was an older guy at a gas station. He was absolutely blown away by the fact that the car was close to 20 years old.

Am I a bad person because I won't work on my car when it's raining, even though I have a garage?

Yes, would you like to see where I work on my car? Campus parking lots suck.

Yesterday I took it back to firestone to get it aligned and for them to center the damned steering wheel.... Well, they almost got right this time. I swear that I regret ever going to Firestone. I will make sure that i get my moneys worth out of their "lifetime aligment" though...

My ranger dropped the starter at high school a couple years ago, we changed it after school in about an hour. I think about 4 people that walked by actually knew what we were doing. I think a requirement of driver school should be some basic work on car.

Well, probably at least a knowledge of the car they drive.... Most new modern cars rarely require any repairs and a lot of young people get new or newer cars from their parents.
