Default 1999 Miata Cooling Fan

My Miata keeps running hot when stopped in traffic and AC on. I have found that my fan quits due to a bad connector on the wiring harness side. Any suggestions where I can get a new connector?

I would either try to find one at the U-pull-it junkyard, find someone who is parting out a wrecked car (or a race car being built), try to buy it new from Rosenthal Arlington Mazda (inexpensive OEM dealership), or repair/bypass the connector with a shielded blade crimp-on connector.

Thanks for the advice. Called the dealer, but Mazda only makes entire wiring harness and does not provide plug with pigtail. as far as junk yard goes, I am concerned that the connector I get will be deteriorating as well. I thing I will go with the blade connector idea and possible solder. Thanks

I just bought some new wire harness connectors from Radio Shack instead. The benefit is that once you test it, you won't get the polarity mixed up.

I learned this the hard way, because I also used plain insulated connectors before. My lazy mechanic didn't bother to ensure he connected them right and they were spinning backwards which could've really done some damage, had I not paid so close attention. I opted to spend a few bucks rather than chance that again.
