I bought a crate motor and swapped it. The crate was a manual and the old motor was an automatic. I reused the automatic flywheel. When I got the crate motor dropped in it started and ran fine but the starter ground the flywheel a bit. I checked the starter and it was installed fine. I was wondering if there were washers on the motor side of the flywheel that I forgot. It seems that the starter is 1/16th too far in.
