Default Jumping ship...

Sups all. I guess I'm the newest addition to this place, so I thought I'd introduce myself before bugging everyone with noob questions.

I'm James, I'm 31, and I'm a Nissan head. Well, a Nissan head that's always had a soft spot for Miatas. Having sold my 3rd (last?) s13 right before losing a p11 G20, I'm looking for a new (to me) whip to beat on, and I figured what the hell, why not finally get an NA?

It'll be a while until I finally get one, as funds are a bit tight at the moment and I never rush into things like this, but I'll be around, trolling and such ;p

Thanks to you both

Quick question: I know the differences between your M and R deviants, but is there a specific year I should aim for as far as "normal" NA's go?

Welcome aboard!

Lots will say that the 94-95 are the "best". OBD1 and the 1.8L engine are a great combination.

welcome to the forumz

I used to have a sohc ka s13 with a short ram, pacesetter header and exhaust.. I liked it a lot but the NA's a totally different beast.. I hope you get one and enjoy it as much as I do mine !!!

Thanks fellas

Schadenfreude: I can imagine. I've driven a few modified Miatas, and they've ranged from mild to scaryasshit. I do love their natural neutral balance though.
I just wish that instead of s13 parts, I had boxes filled with NA parts in my garage ><
