No, I turned 16 in October. In Canada you have to have your learners for 6 months unless you take drivers ed. In that case it is 3 months.
I got my learners almost 4 months ago so I'm almost there. I've been driving my dads SE-R since it isn't worth insuring my car yet.

This was my first car, VG30E beast
Failed emissions, the HC were almost 3 times over, thing could barely get 10mpg lol, in the top graph I believe that dotted straight line was the limit
this was the end of it, well actually someone actually bought it from the insurance and drove it for a year or so according to carfax
Second car and currently a winter beater/sometimes daily
Put some crap on there that didn't make it any faster and just made it loud and obnoxious back in my stupid days ie polyurethane motor mounts, warm air intake, 98+ camry header, highflow cat into a magnaflow race muffler

Started with one of these (not mine):
Then DD this for a while, and had some "fun":
That was replaced with this, which went through 4 automatic transmissions, the original and 3 rebuilds.
Had a brief stint with a $500 280z, regretted every minute of it and have no pictures thankfully.
Some time after the 900, my dad bought the miata and some time during the 9000 I bought it from him.
Currently DD'ing this:

@Slider, IS you're Celica still in such good shape? I've a;ways liked that body style and it's nice to see such a clean one.
@ Curly, that truck you used to drive is awesome.

Love it. Summer of '07 I tested the Lancer, 3, and tC. I wanted as much power as I could get and still remain around 28-30mpg and ~$16,000. The 3 was great but a little too gutless(2.0) and expensive with any options, the tC violated the mileage rule but the 2.4 was fun. I unfortunately didn't fit well either, head room was fine but the windshield wasn't tall, the top of my vision was blocked barely by the visor, just enough to be boring. Nicely optioned, but at $18,000.
Test drove the Lancer last and it was awesome. I'm very picky and observant about little things, like location of buttons, ease of stereo use, how dated the steering wheel buttons looked, if the CC actually increases speed by 1 mph or like the Mazda, which is more like .5mph. Wipers and volume are both speed sensitive too, which I really like. Ended up paying $16,500 for the middle of the line ES, with fog lights and 6 CD player as my only options. I've since added the aux cable for $50, $200 TWM short shifter, and I'm on my 3rd set of tires. OEM lasted 22,000 abusive miles, next set lasted slightly less abusive 50,000 miles. Only thing I'd change is getting the bluetooth computer which I plan on soon for $215, I never use the CD changer, and I'd really like to have defrosters in my mirrors.
I currently have 70,XXX miles on it, with nothing put into but oil changes, K&N filter, and said tires. Tranny flush, coolant flush, and brakes will probably be soon.
GF has a 2010 Mazda 3 hatch, basically what I couldn't afford. The 2.5 gets worse gas mileage, seats are a little too bolstered for DD duty, at least more than the Lancer, and the stereo is a little too complicated for what it is. Plus its an auto, which is obviously corrected at the time of purchase. It's still fun to drive though, and the extra power is nice. But I'd still take the 2 year old Lancer if given the choice today, even if the 3 was a stick.
Sorry for the long winded response, but there's your answer. If you're considering the nicely priced Ralliart, I'd be careful. The interior already feels barely adequate for my $16,000 car, and they don't do anything to improve it. They also use the same gas tank, so my barely 400 mile range would be around 275 in the Ralliart, and a pathetic 200 in the Evo. For the $10,000 extra for the Ralliart, you get AWD, 100 turbo charged HP more, bigger brakes and better suspension. Oh, and don't get the subwoofer, it takes away half the trunk.

Ah I wish that picture was taken a few years ago. The front end was repainted after an accident, now that it sits outside the paint is fading. The car was always a Chicago car so when I got it the underbody had some rust issues, front sway bar mount rusted off completely. If rust wasn't an issue I probably would've tossed a 3s-gte in there. I would love to own an All-Trac one day.
