The carnage pics might come tonight. I don't feel like putting a bunch of time into it but I'm having custom pistons made from my stock slugs so i'll start to tear her apart tonight.

Now that I've got some down time to work on the little things that bug me... The meth gauge in the vent is killing me. Don't like it. So I ordered the single din radio mount for the gauges. I'll move the meth gauge here and finally install my Oil pressure, and analog boost gauge here.

The rings were silver and matched nothing so I went to my usual can of flat black and got to work.

Looks much better if you ask me. The AEM gauge lights up the red/amber to match my factory gauges and dash lighting. The only ugly *** gauge I have left is my TurboSmart eBoost2

Made my way up and checked out the car last night... Started to remove a couple of small items here and there to see if I could get a good look at the carnage for you guys.

It feels a bit like spending a year on a puzzle and the feeling you get when it's time to COMPLETELY------IT-UP and put it back into the box.

Ooo a little piece of my oil pan eh?

Mmmm a little hole in my engine eh? (Passenger side)

Another hole in my engine... eh? (Drivers side)

And yes, I can shine a flashlight in one side of my block and it comes out the other

Whoa! Nice! Well not nice, probably a lot of work spent on that car. But now you get to rebuild for more FUN!

It's not that, probably more like feeling like you took the easy way, thus get no rep...

Also, any aftermarket fuel mgmt runs better than crappy msm ecu.

Made some time to pull the engine this past weekend.

Didn't take long to get her out. The damage is truly impressive. The pan is blown away, right side of the block has a softball sized hole and the left has a golf-ball sized hole.

Holy hell!

So I assume you were making a pull when it let go?
Any Idea how much power you were making?
How was it tuned?

I was actually not on the car hard at all. I was on the freeway at about 70 and she popped. I was probably making around 270. It was tuned using XEDE. The thing had a really good tune it was just too much for the rods.

The fact that it let go while cruising tells you something.

Pull the rods/caps and post pics.
