Default How difficult is it to build a DIYPNP?

Title says it all, how difficult is it to build a DIYPNP? Vehicle is a 2000 Miata, manual transmission, AC, PS, cruise, power windows, etc.

I consider myself to be moderately intelligent, capable of following directions. I have a nice soldering iron, heat shrink, all that stuff. Is this something the average joe who has a very limited electrical knowledge can handle?

Yes. It's really not difficult. Just take your time, plan it out, and read the directions carefully several times over.

not sure about the MS it self...but solder is much more manageable with some liquid flux in a squirt bottle. The paste stuff works too, but its a bit more challenging to get into place.

Beyond that, I would use their forum, there is a lot of support and info on there. Also, we already WIN on this topic because Brain is here! lol

if you have the following:

$7 soldering iron from radio shack.
.030" solder 60/40 from radoo shack.
small wire snips.

then on a scale from 1 to 10:

2. The biggest hurdle is the comprehension of what you're doing.

I'll post my how-to over here. I did it for a Mustang 5.0 DIYPNP, but it's all the same.
