Might try to get my LS1 coils installed this weekend. Not sure though.

 

Had my laptop hooked up last night trying to figure out an odd idle recovery issue when I decided to check something I thought i had checked a few times.

I had the point where the injectors start spraying again after being cut off by over-run set too low, bumped it up and all is good now! I can turn my idle back down to ~850 now!

 

i return from overrun around 1650.

 

I bumped mine to 1500, for some reason I had it set to 1100(could have sworn I double checked this). I might bump it up a bit more but for now, all is well.

 

Installed Revlimiter's retro HVAC panel and installed a tombstone bezel wrapped with Redline Goods trim. Been doing one trim piece at a time around the interior - only a couple left to install.

 

Smoothed my fuel map, need to adjust idle Afr, it seems the happiest at 13.6-8

 

Sent Magnicore an email about getting some custom plug wires made for the LS2 coils, thinking hard about ordering some ID1000s.

Scott, help me set up some sequential action!

 

Sounds familiar. I initially tried to fight it to make it idle leaner but it wouldn't settle, even after playing with the idle timing some, too. I gave it what it wanted to be happy and now we both are.

 

Yeah, I have mine set at 13.5ish. If I go higher some times it likes it, some times it doesn't. Once I get the LS2 coils and my ID1000s in running sequential, I hope to be in the high 14s low 15s

 

Installed Garage Vary Hard top rain rails. Rattle can and 3000 grit before install, now ready for compound, polish, sealant & wax.





Also got a new windshield (#$&*! Houston highways) today and placed my new inspection & registration sticker exactly where I like them - as far into the corner as possible. You let the guy at the inspection station slap it on there and it's distracting for the next year.

When I got my new registration, I also got new plates. My rebuilt motor will be going in next month. MP62 here I come...
